We are proposing that for the year 2020 we will continue to be recognized for our effective contribution to the solution of the country�s problems, at the same time we will have generated greater impact through the significant growth of our student body, launching innovative and pertinent programs, strengthening research and expanding our continuous education programs and extension, and the opportune dissemination of results and achievements, thereby reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence and our leadership in Science, Technology and Education.


We are aware that the best way to address this expectation is through a highly participative planning process. With pleasure and great expectations we present our Strategic Plan 2016- 2020, which sets the path that we will travel during the next five-year period and establishes the framework, the strategic pillars and the transverse axes of our institutional performance which will allow us to comply with our mission to �To Develop Agents of Change who will impact society, through educational experiences and research centered on Science and Technology.� I reiterate our recognition of all of the persons who have contributed with their valuable contributions to the formulation of this Strategic Plan, and give thanks in advance to all of the members of our university community whose contributions will allow us to achieve the goals we have proposed.

In order to achieve this and to ensure the sustainability of our efforts, we count with human resources of the highest quality who are identified with the institution, as well as having infrastructure and state-of-the art technology. We make effective use of our resources and we foster a culture of success and well-being. We promote effective communication, first rate customer service and synergy between the entities that comprise the Del Valle Educational Group, graduate loyalty, relationship with the educational, industrial and international cooperation sectors and with other sectors of society; and financial and environmental sustainability, and our commitment to the country and the region.


 

 



Strategic Map

The �Strategic Map� methodology was used to graphically represent how Universidad del Valle plans to implement its strategy. It is a model of how the institution intends to add value over the next 5 years. It uses a graph that describes and conveys the strategy in clear and actionable terms.


To operationalize the strategy, we need to translate it to more concrete and memorable elements. We achieve this though our strategic map.
